Unfortunately, most pastors are not taught how to do effective personal ministry during their training. Some pastors have seen ministry done badly, so they determine they would never allow that to be inflicted on their congregation. Others have never seen ministry done at all, so have no frame of reference on how to help their congregation achieve personal spiritual healing and freedom.
Most NZ Christians have never had deliverance, or had a curse broken off their lives.
