We are justified, not by giving anything to God, what we do, but from receiving from God, what Christ hath done for us.
We are justified, not by giving anything to God, what we do, but from receiving from God, what Christ hath done for us.
God will not be delayed, nor will He be rushed. While we are wearily waiting, He is working in ways we can’t see or know. So our trust is based on God’s own assurance that when the time is right, He won’t make us wait any longer.
We’re here for a reason. I believe a bit of the reason is to throw little torches out to lead people through the dark.
The authority by which the Christian leader leads is not power but love, not force but example, not coercion but reasoned persuasion. Leaders have power, but power is safe only in the hands of those who humble themselves to serve.
